You must be very new here. First off, when you begin here you get a free home and with some free stuff, creating a hangout is free. Why should you get paid if you are not on Kaneva, that's not fair to others. You do get free stuff after you complete different levels of dance fame, Kaching (sorry about the spelling), and world fame. Like clothes, rewards, deeds, furniture, trophies.

ill be makeing a tutorial for all of you new builder haters its atchuly alot better remember hte old build mode nothign lined up right unless it was a perfict 90digrees well now you can adjsut things by the desimal and i like it it all takes time to learn so give it mroe time kaneva wont remove this featcher at any cost only improve it more they will soon get rid of the blue outline as well if you keep up with forums youll see small updates like that as well its very helpfull and its an advanced build mode not every one can do it there foruth read and falow directions its called practice makes perfict :D

sorry to tell you you can sell your building materials for 15% of the price you paid if bought with credits. but with clothing and stuff like that talk to the maker and see if they will buy it back off you for less than you paid. now if you sudgested that it was reward bought items for half that would be a vote up but sadly i had ot vote down on the credit idea cause its allredy there. keep up the good ideaas though

Kaneva is full of underaged childern...they probably populate KAneva more than us adults. I don't think it's a good idea cause i'm sure Kaneva dosen't want any trouble with their parents and so on. Plus imagine the number of pedofiles who target kids online for this type of stuff. It's too risky. A consideration, but nahh!! Kaneva's just not going to take that major risk.

I don't know how they go about cancelling accounts. Yet there are two things you can do. 1) delete everything about Kaneva from the computer 2) Hand write a letter to the company itself and tell them what has happened. I voted up, but I say just change them back the way they were, and focus on the things that are still broken. The beeping keys, the Ghost Emails, the blocks that move with you when you're trying to build. Instead of improving something that's fine the way it is, fix the things that aren't. what's the big deal with this virtual sex emote anyways...i don't get it. I disagree. Rewards are earned by doing things. Credits is like real money and gives others the incentive to create even more wonderful items. For a while this idea did exist but the ppl who created stuff were given nearly nothing as rewards for their hard work. Its no different when you buy the special packages and passes. I voted no.

You may do better by listing each of your ideas separately. I agree about bringing back our hugs, kiss, and high 5, but I don't agree with the virtual sex emotes. It goes back to "how would you like it if your under-aged child could have virtual sex". If that is what you are looking for then maybe you should go somewhere else. As far as how to make emotes, check out the forums under "how do I".

Kids can flick on the TV and see lower neck lines and shorter shorts on any channel, I'm sure a virtual character wearing some cute shorts would have no detrimental effect. As long as it wasn't too wild and inappropriate the clothing should be accepted.

you can't exchange rewards.
To exchange credits; you right click person; then choose trade.
At the bottom you see credits. Just put the ammount you want to give.

Kaneva just keeps comming up with new innovative ideas to rip peoples a$$es off everyday. A measly 25 rewards was too much for us they thought, so they decided to plummet it down to 5 stingy chicken feed rewards...it is a serious turn off and I don't even go on tours anymore cause my free time just ain't worth it.

lol...well all i can say is sometimes deleting your browsing history completely, cookies included, could help. It seems computers nowadays automatically remember your login info and so makes it 'easier' to access a site without signing in. I think it has something to do with the cookies, you gotta get rid of those pertaining to this particular site on your work computer.

yup..kaneva closes down unexpectedly on me as well and gives me that nonsense about loosing connection with the server...it is really ustrating indeed. It seems with every upgrade, more bugs and problems keeps arising. They've gotta fix this fast. Voted up.

im shure there are many many ideas on here they have to go through.. and for the idea to come to a reality.. your idea would need to get tons of "thumb ups" im shure, if you are having some kind of trouble with kaneva you could always send in a ticket, tickets will get a response, (on the main kaneva site way at the bottom look for "support" and click on "submit a ticket"

imo, it's not a question of whether Kaneva get a cut but how much...

i also believe the mark-up on items is too much and acts as a deterrent for many would-be designers. I'd like to be able to make t-shirts with funny captions on to wear and give away (easy to make and add a sense of fun) but it simply isnt worth it...

i totally agree that designers should get their own copy for free -seems kinda mean spirited not to permit it.

And to add to your idea you should also be able to choose your time zone because for some people it may be night where they live and day in EST.

The samething happened to me. The same shoes a mini skirt supposed to be white were grey,skirt that was supposed to be a MINI was down to my knees.Several screw up's. Also espensive,not many way's to earn rewards.

Sounds like a great idea. Hope it doesn't cost an arm and leg. Then the question is once it is offered at one price lets $50 and then the price drops so after you buy it. So what do you do about that? It happened to me when I first bought a monthly VIP pass at one price then the price dropped 2 weeks later. It was very discouraging because I had to cancel the VIP account, then wait till after the 30 days to renew at the lower price. Just a thought but your idea is very good.

Have to disagree here. I like the monthly payments. Besides if you can't afford that monthly amount you can cancel. Or better yet when you find out they lower the price (and this has happened just recently) you can cancel and renew at the new lower price. Its just more affordable in these hard times to leave it the way it is. Also what happens if you pay the large sum for lifetime and Kaneva goes under? There is no way to get the money back. Just my 2 cents of an opinion.

I do not know how to tell you that but, you can already rave the clothes that other people make... just go to shop(dot)kaneva(dot)com , clothing and select some clothes that have been made by other people... you will see a "Rave This" button under the picture of the sale.

This idea was for those of us who are loving the way things are on kaneva and not wanting things to change, (although I do love all the updates, and yes they are needed to keep up with the compitition) just would be nice to have more choices ,the addition of the new build mode to what we already have would have been great(with it being a ADDED feature not replacing the old method all together)

1 reason I feel this way is I would love to be able to switch back to the old build mode at times, I have built many neat places in the past with the old simple fast way to build, now I haven't even attempted to build anything, it would take me to long with all the things that pop up when I go to build now I was just asking to be given a choice between the two (the abbility to switch between the two ways to build at any time) instead of this we have been forced to addapt to the new build mode

You want the option of keeping things the way they are, but what will happen when Kaneva wants to upgrage their servers and upgrade the version we all currently play (4.0). If you want to ignore the updates then your version would be obselete and you couldn't access Kaneva anymore and would HAVE to upgrade weather you like it or not, changes included. First of all, I don't see how you can realize such a thing for an MMOG (massively multiplayer online game).

My personal opinion when it comes to the new build mode is, there are many things I like about it, it can be very helpful at times depending on what exactly I am building at the moment but at other times I would love the option to switch to the old very simple way of building miss it at times

yeah, you are right, but I guess, what marcos is trying to say is that the first person view should be improved so you can see the arms and legs and the look of the avatar should be guided after your mouse without keeping your mouse button pressed and turn the camera or the avatar...
There is one problem tough, these stuff that all ppl want to be added requires C++ coding (programing) and some 3D programs (for animations, textures and models)... so it's hard work tough and... yeah, just give them a chance lol... sorry I deviated from the subject but... I agree with him, it would be cooler like that...

I agree, a lot of virtual sites that let you sell goods allow you to do this. It provides incentive to sell more goods people want to buy. Kaneva gets money. You get money. (Gonna throw an example out there: even Whirled, a 2-D flash based site, has a cashout option. Whirled gives a creator 30 percent of the profit, donates 30 percent to charity, and keeps the rest, but I know someone who has still cashed out 700 dollars worth of cash. That means lots of charity money and lots of money for whirled, too.)

Having been on SL, IMVU, and plenty of other worlds, I'm just going to say that Kaneva has an "MMORPG" approach to customization at the moment. Pre-made skins, eyes, hair, and body types. What a lot of people don't think about is how much lag this reduces. I can hop into Kaneva in about a second, whereas SL takes decades to start and IMVU takes about ten seconds. There's cons to this system, and that is there are many people and character types that, in the current system, cannot be recreated. One is the classic milky-white, red eyed vampire. Another would be a fat person. I agree that there should be more options, but an SL-like avatar where lots of individual options can be changed would put strain on everyone's computers.

I think age on avatars should be restricted from young teens to old adults, because that is the age group that is allowed to register on this site. Younger than 13 is bound to raise some pedophilia issues, but if you have 13 year olds on the site than I don't see why they have to look older than they are. As for old people, Kaneva will have to add new skin textures in addition to new models, so it may not be totally practical but a good idea nonetheless. My guess is that not many people would want to look like an old person. It's like adding a cat nose option. Not many people are going to use it even if it is well-done, so you might as well leave it out rather than waste time and money on it.

Credits are like real money, you buy them with real money. Therefore it helps the Kaneva makers to get paid for their hard work. Rewards are ones you earn after completing levels.

Welcome to Kaneva! For Rewards which is just like money but can only buy Kaneva stuff you should .... Check out the forums, add your 2cents to the suggestions, view videos, rave ppl and their communities, and homes. Be online in Kaneva on Mon, Wed, and Sat 9:30p-10:30p eastern time and earn 250 rewards the next day. As far as credits, you can buy them (at the bottom of your screen "Get Credits")by themselves or with special packages, or win them in dance comps.

Yeah I have bought several shorts and it's not fair to the maker, plus not fair to me that I spend my credits on either I earned or bought with my REAL money to lose them by them being made AP or deleted all together. I understand there are kids on here that play but so long as they are not vulgar showing butt cheeks or anything they shouldnt be made AP. I'm sure these kids that play were shorts, and have seen other's in the REAL world wearing shorts so they shouldnt be offened by it.

Well it is difficult especially for newer ppl to know who the advisors are to begin with....I have had several ppl pming me to help them find an advisor because they dont know who they are. With an advisor tab..at least we can select an advisor that is online.

You can drag them and drop them. Put mouse mouse in the highlighted square on the object while in build mode, and you can just lift it and slide it to wherever you want it... and then use arrows to fine-tune the location.

I didnt really visit these areas much, but I do think that we need a common place for new people to dance in that is a kanvea public space without haveing to attend parties they may not be interested in going to. When new commers join..there is a video that plays on there screen. Basically all about meeting people and interactions. Kaneva being the social hub of the internet and so on. They may not know to look in communities..click population and see a list they can choose from. We sometimes forget what it was like to be new and not know where to look and where the action is. Simply clicking on the map is such an easier way to get newbies to a simple dance area where they are not kicked for "staying off the dance floor-comp in progress". They dont know any better. Heck--they have never danced before. bring back the 3rd dim for all the newbies sake!

Common public dance clubs, at least one non-ap and one ap are needed in kaneva. Many people are too shy to join in the chatter at the mall or feel uninvited in private clubs, especially given so many mods love kicking people in private clubs. In 3D they could at least go and dance annonymously and eventually get the feel of kaneva members and meet people.

31Alright. So I was pondering on the thought of making a way to display user created clothing in user created storefronts. Im not so sure how difficult it would be but to be able to create a mannequin that you can purchase to upload your clothing onto, such as tops, bottoms, and shoes, would be very cool. Now the whole idea is so that a person who creates alot of clothing can build a store and use the mannequins to display thier items on and people can visit the various shops/ homes/ hangouts and check out the stuff. One of the reasons why this would be cool is becuase users wouldnt have to spend a long time on the webpage to look at everything a user has created, it would also be good to bring in money for kaneva becuase im sure alot of people would be very interested, well Im sure the vote will prove that. Hope its an idea I can see flourish! =.D

Initially I suggested a tab http://ideas.kaneva.com/akira/dtd/21938-2569. Was VERY disheartened by the response from Advisors in the thread I started (http://forums.kaneva.com/showthread.php?t=13592) and in the comments. I previously thought they were here to be of assistance. Guess I was wrong. God forbid we should be able to find any of them in world. It was the responses to this suggestion that changed my attitude about Kaneva and significantly lessened my time and interaction in world. Thought MAYBE this suggestion would be acceptable.

Installation does put a World of Kaneva icon on your desktop. You can probably delete the setup file now. If the icon doesn't show up on your desktop, drag it from the Kaneva group in the Programs list on the Start menu.

first thing first.....kaneva dosen't have distant horizons, just a backdrop picture of a scene. Once you go through that you end up in dead space. But yeah it would be cool if kaneva could do something like your idea. If they did, it would definately mean that kaneva would have to restructure and rebuild the whole entire world of kaneva to accomodate sky diving and flying; which would be good cause everything seems kinda flat in kaneva, we need some altitude. Voted up.

10-10-09 This topic has been up for 8 mos and no action yet? I joined Kaneva in June and danced to level 50/51 in 3 months. It sure would be nice to dance for rewards and clothing again. Thumbs up on increasing dance levels to 100.

There should be an "Public" toggle on playlists and radio stations, as some people would not want some of their lists or stations to be available for public use. I do like the idea of having a kaneva broadcast station though, would be nice.

I agree, just save and earn the rewards like everyone else does. You earn 250 during happy hour (M, W, and Sat between 9:30p to 10:30p) and you earn at least 50 every 6 hrs. I think it is a great the way it is.

i feel kaneva offers many ways to get rewards.. get all your fame's up and win some, log in for party hours and get 250 each time, employment office every 6 hours and get up to 200 a day, spend lots of time virtual.. and you will have many.. as for every building item costing 1 reward.. we wont see this happen.

i know but hat can you do... those ideas will never come true.... if they knew that EURO our money currency is allot more valuble then dollars then they should think allot different... trust me its allot easy if they put alot more credit cards and not just 2.... like teenagers become from 14 years old... and they have maestro credit card or Cirrus and so on.... and for the bundles offer i think it is realy pricy.... well not for me cause i would pay like 10 Euros or less so that is like 20 - 30$ with fast caclulations.... think about it.... euros bring allot more dollars!!!

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!! I have a constant flow of credits coming in but no idea what 'products' are selling. This would be a fantastic tool for designers. ...also appears that the 'best selling' feature isn't working properly as there are things I KNOW have sold well but do not appear in the ranking where they should. This could help solve that issue as well.

OOps with the boards the value of the SCOND 16 X 16 board you lay the value would be 8 not 16...in whatever direction

Reason for this is that the edges of the ground zero board lies from the middle 8 in every direction... so the next board depending on which direction you will place it, to touch the middle board will be either X:-8 (East) X:8 (West) Z:-8 (North) or Z:8 (South)

The New Building Tool allows you to move multiple objects and also load texture on multiple objects at the same time... Play a little with it, you will figure it out soon enough...:)

Try the following....

Drop onto an empty space let's say four 16 x 16 floor panels...

They will normally drop one ontop of the other right?

Now Click on Enter Building Mode and a little vertical menu appears on the left side of your screen.

On it is a little icon at the bottom which looks like a wrench
That is your Advanced Building tool...

click on it..

You will see a screen opening which gives you information..

On the left side there is an X Y and Z also a Rotation block...all will show 0 until you click on a board...

Numbers will appear in it which tells you EXACTLY where that block lies on the property... The address in numbers so to speak...

X is your East West direction...

Y is your up down direction...

Z is your North South direction...

Where you port in on a site it is ground zero... Zero direction East/West, Zero direction Up/Down and Zero direction North/South

on your X scale every number with a - before it, lies West of this Ground Zero..
and every value with no - in front of it, lies East of your Ground Zero...

On your Y Scale every value with a - infront of it, lies UNDER ground zero..and every value without a - infront of it lies ABOVE ground zero...

On your Z Scale every value with a - infront of it, lies NORTH of ground zero and every value without a - infront of it, lies SOUTH of ground zero..which is ALWAYS your place of porting into the site.

When your board is facing North/South/East/West on ground zero there should be 0 rotation as value...

When you type in 180 the board will swing from North South to South North

When you type in 90 it will swing from West to East and if you type in 270 from East to West... (not sure about that, but you can check)

Boards come in different sizes and when you laid the first one, the next one touching it will be exactly the size of the board difference in the numbers... i.e. if you lay a 16 x 16 floorboard

and you place it on ground zero where all the parameters are "0" then the one next to it to the East will have in the parameter box

X: -16

Y: 0

Z: 0

The one next to that should have

X:-32

Y: 0

Z: 0

If you place it South of the ground zero board touching the first board, the parameters will show..

X: 0

Y: 0

Z:16

If you lift the board above the other board then the Y parameter will show numbers

Ground zero is always the value of 0 in height...anything under it will be -0 or - with whatever distance below ground zero it is...

Hope that helps...experiment with it, you should get the hang of it! :)

Advertising thread would be good. Clearly shop.kaneva has so many items and searches are not limiting enough, an advertising section would be great for designers. (Shop.kaneva search should allow you to search different categories like "leopard" in women's clothes OR furniture. Would make it a lot easier to find stuff.)

Our pm system is terrible. You get a pm from one person, and b 4 you answer another person pm you and cancel out the first one, so you search through friends list to find friend to click to answer first pm, and forget what you want to say at this time. And now all the chat is gone cause you in a place with high chat and you forgot who pm you. This is terrible. We need TABBED MESSAGING!! This is what most other 3d games have and works great.

problem with the current system is someone keeps spamming and filling the section up. as a result, u cant find anything but that persons stuff. make a different section for spamming.

I think it would be great to have section to advertise only instead of posting links to players designs in section where people really are looking for mostly unique stuff to buy.

It's not about starting a new section so much as keeping the advertising out of this section. The existing section should be a place to sell what you own, not advertise what you make. I'd prefer there be no advertising what you make in the forums but if people are going to do it make it a separate section.

3D World Buying, Selling and Trading A forums where you can advertise things you want to sell or search for things you want to buy and trade for. We have this already. Its redundant . Doesnt make sense to start cluttering forums with more categories.

I agree with our idea. They were all once free before the whole V.I.P thing which is soo annoying. I mean, what is sooo rated-R about a high five, or a hug or kiss (bear in mind that avis dont actually kiss in kaneva cause there's a huge space between their lips). It's sad to know that people are paying for these emotes which are practiced as a part of everyday life in reality. Voted up.

sorry I don't agree with this.
1) how old is your kid?
2) You can block that person from interacting with you.
3) you can ask the person nicely to stop and if not report and block.
4) If you feel your child is not mature enough to engage in that particular behavior, maybe he/she should not be here.
5) Finally, you are a good parent, but I can't help but wonder what your child sees when he/she is in school.
The real world is ten times worse than here.

I know i have you all confused now..I MESSED UP BIG TIME BY POSTING THIS IDEA!!... I will try to explain to the best that i can.. first thing is i am new to being an advisor, and when i first signed up
i read the contract, i skimmed through it (bad habit of mine to skim through important long contracts and things like that) I only read all the rules, totally missing some good things that were on there that would benefit me, I cant go into any details but i can say kaneva treats there advisors well, and Im sorry for any confusion i might have caused, alots been going on in my real life also and I have been extra emotional lately so when general managers would tell me about areas I needed to improve on, in my advisor duties I took it to heart.. and Im sorry for that to, I can say I have enjoyed my time as an advisor, and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to be one in the future :)

maybe advisors could be payed kinda like the party hours.. (with the fact that some people may not even log in for days after becoming an advisor and should be payed for doing nothing) where they would have to be logged in the virtual world for at least 45 min a day to receive the pay for that day..

sorry to hear you feel that way. The Kaneva elders do listen it just takes them a very long time to act on good ideas. For example, it took 6 months or more to give back the community list where one can see if anyone is there at the community/hangout and how many raves that site received.
Don't give up! I haven't gave up on my idea to bring back the high 5, kiss, and hug for free.

Maybe this will help, it works for me. When you log in there is a box you can check to keep you logged in. Then all you need to do is remember your password. Yet if and when you run anti-spyware manually, it does erase it.

i like the idea..alot....but, still keeop in mind that there are some ppl in kaneva that give their avatars some longggg names. I have no idea how ppl come up with those names in the 1st place. I'm not sure i'd want to type out such a long name, because i'm very sure that me, just like many others would mess up a few times just to type in a persons name (if we can remember it). I absolutley loveeee this idea. Kaneva really needs to look in a fashion magazine or something, cause those hairstlyes currently are saying 'BIG, BAD, HAIRDAY'. Those hairstyles are like soooo 20th century and like soooo yesterday. This is the 21st Century...Kaneva has really got to step up their game and fast. The hairstylist idea is super fabulous...i actually thought Kaneva would have done this by now, but hey, if we can't even get purses and new fashion templates that acutually look nice yeat, then i shouldn't expect something so simple but yet so drastic (on kaneva's part) to happen so soon.

you chance it back like you change other keys...all you have to do is go to prefrences, then click keyboard...find the box that says toggle run/walk or something that relates to that that would mean the same thing...then cliick on it, go down to the bottom, click the button that says something meaning to change it and then the next button you push will become what you want...if this didnt help, then next time im on kaneva ill post another idea in the exact details...

Use them like building blocks and let your imagination run. I suggest going to different homes and hangouts and seeing what people build. If you're curious how anything is made right-click on different parts and see what the pieces are. One suggestion that I was told waaaaaaay too late for most of the stuff I'd built was to use the cubes (16x16, 8x8, etc.) rather than the walls and floors when possible because they are considerably cheaper. Not always good to use but nice to do so when you can.

blue light is very needed when movie or texturing multiple objects. i do agree for moving individual pieces or linning things up it can be difficult but thats where the xyz coordinates come in. also click off something and back on to see if its lined up only takes a few seconds.

personally id like to see something where you select 2 objects and click join.

The ability to make a playlist in-world sounds great. Perhaps it would be neat if we could do this by adding other people's already uploaded videos to your own playlist after searching in-world. This could potentially encourage more media views/raves.

What are you looking for? Kaneva looks pretty realistic, and non-cartoonish. The avatars are quite detailed and with the right pics and patterns uploaded (being soely the user's responsibility) you can get great looking graphics for your home and hangout as well.

Even sorting a small amount of videos is frusterating. Numbering say 7 and 8 to make them play as tracks 2 and 3 can even be problematic, where the wrong songs will jump up, or take its place, or shift everything down 2 places.

We need it to be drag-and-drop.

I agree completely with the points made above about VIP/Access Passes, & exchanging credits for rewards to spend. I also think that we should be given the option to pay with Rewards on all products we want to buy. Some products are presently marked as Premium & can't be bought with Rewards, this restriction should be lifted.

Agreed. These revised figleaf is a win-win for designers and Kaneva. They can maintain their AP policy and still allow designers to create top-quality content without have to deal with the sloppy lines of the women's pants template.

I've never used the rave back button. I too felt the same way and just found it easier just to find an avatar and rave them that way. I also do a "PM" letting them know who raved them. Its a thought, good luck, and be happy.

The whole thing is so stupid, they need to fix it badly, I hate the pm options as well it is annoying and takes to long to do in certain places with many people. I love to chat with people so pm is good only in small groups of people but its still annoying having to click all the time, i wish there was another option.

As far as Kaneva becoming like Face book it can happen unless there is an agreement with Face book, which can either hurt the community of Kaneva players or it can update and convert new player to connect with other friends. I like the idea of it because it can give my Face book friends the option to get to know what Kaneva is about. However most people on Face book update pics and blog and sign out, they usually don't care for playing a simulation game like Kaneva. I don't understand why this would be a bad thing to Kaneva. But I understand if they do add Face book as an add on within the game they would have to configure a new way of updating the game all together which I hope they do eventually anyways.

I made a comment post about having a live chat option in the game I feel if they have the option of cell phones they should do something like upgrade cell phone to live chat and this is a web streaming way to connect to people live, which can make the game a little more interactive with your friends.

I want to trade with people or sell items that I don't use so gifting would be ideal or having a store where we can sell items for a little rewards like what a pawn shop would do in real life. I think that would boost the kaneva economy, because there is no middle class only the rich and poor in this game. You have to be creative to make some money which is great but you still need money to get somewhere... If there was a trading option that was for all items I think it would make the shops more competitive as well which would make this game a lot more fun from a business aspect. I would love to be an entrepreneur in this game.

Well I agree that most people can be annoying some times in real life as well as this game, but usually there is a reason for it, and if not then the person is just trying to cause trouble. I think that they shouldn't be banned from the game but get warnings so that people can know what users are causing disturbances. This way the moderators can ban them from the clubs automatically before they can start any problems. But usually I think people need to relax and have fun it's a video game, I understand that some people can be easily offended but once again like the post commented just ignore it and move on. If it bothers you that much you might as well quit this game because there is much more in real life to get upset over.

I agree I want a way to make more rewards, I have a lot building to do in my home I don't think it is fair to have to spend any of it on credits, I think credit items should be only what people have created into the game not what kaneva provides into the game. Theses items should be cheaper to purchase.

First, there already is something. It's called a tag. One can always type /clancreate AFK whenever they wish.

Second, WHY do people want to leave their avatars in world when they are not here? Okay, scratch that. I do that sometimes for world fame and party hours. If someone stops talking to you because you were afk and don't reply at the time, and they didn't figure that out themself, then thats childish. I'm sorry if you've lost friends over this, it's a rediculous reason to shun someone.

This happened to me too. Yet lately when I think I didn't rave a person and hit the rave button again a box comes up stating it will cost me 200 credits or rewards. It gives me a choice of credit or rewards, if you press the cancel "X" button on the first screen of the message it cancels your request and no rewards or credits get taken. Hope this helps.

your first point is valid, but easily resolved ... what u brought to my hangout u can take back. yah, as i said it'd be petty to ban me from dropping things bought with rewards, but they could make it that u can only drop things bought with credits. And your last point is well taken, but it further goes to the practicality of building on someone else's community. to have to give the object to the owner and have him/her bring it to the place you need it is a hassle ... and to have to drag it from wherever to where u need it is even more of a patience jerker. To be fair, I haven't. I'm new to VR. Didn't intend that as a bash on Kaneva, either. I'm in marketing so my hunch is that all things being equal(admittedly unlikely), the VR world with the most attractive avatars will attract the most people. Especially the female folk. Once they're on board, signing up the guys won't be a problem.

Whichever VR world allows me to build my character from Clooney/Pitt/John Holmes parts will probably have a ginormous marketing advantage.

i see a few issues here.. first of all.. what if your co-owner and you get into some kind of argument.. and you both want to go your own ways? who gets the community?? how would you divide the community and all the items in it?

second thing is... yes you cant share things you buy with rewards.. this would allow people to "cheat the game" and make many avatars... and give all there items to one... to become rich..

and this is just to name a few issues..

but i do agree if someone wants to drop there own items bought with CREDITS and freely give them to you.. they should have that option..

I agree with ddania226. I also use IMVU & pay them by SMS to buy credits whi9ch I then use to buy from their online shop. Examples of their SMS charges are £5.00 per 6000 credits in the UK, or, in Spain, €1.20 per 1000 credits. On the 4th purchase of credits in this way, they give you double the amount, eg, 12000 for the cost of 6000.

this feature will also allow us to just port home to any place of our choice that we own or mod. So those nice home you built on green acres poof you can port to it directly when you log in not go to whereever first.

To Phaedrus: Hello...I dont have all the time to split all of my ideas one by one...too time consuming....probably writing this idea as well because who knows if the Kaneva design team actually pays attention to members ideas...but hey...nothing beats a try. I'm guessing that there is no secret Kaneva can share. The template itself is what covers the body. The first women's shirt was a simple, sleeveless shirt. You can color that template any way you want to create a SLEEVELESS shirt. (Arms, neck, etc. aren't covered by template so skin tone is what is seen.) Some genious person (and I mean that with all seriousness) came up with the idea of making that simple sleeveless shirt into crop-top (belly showing) shirt with a v-neck (and possibly backless) by pasting skin tones in the template to create that design. Bottom line is the only way to make templates match all skin tones is to have a template the exact pattern of the shirt allowing the real skin tone to show. Does that make sense? So there is no technology to share.

Boshko suggested adding the ability to search for -ADVISOR- to see all advisors in world. That would be great, too. My first thought was to add something to the chat window like a "PM Advisor" button but wasn't sure how that would work. Would ALL advisors be PMed? Thought tab would be easiest. I think this is a great idea!!! That would not only make things easier for us but better for Kaneva. The one thing I have found is that people seem to lean more toward reality, even if it is "counter" reality. With this it could make more people cross over to Kaneva verses some of it's competitors. It already has the power when it comes to the fact you can build on land without havoc and you can enjoy while competiting in games. This cooroperative idea might make the designers happier but also Kaneva because more people mean more profits. I would definately agree with your suggestion and hope that Kaneva puts it first when comes to building a bigger and more enjoyable Kaneva experiance.

It once was the case that there were many things you could not buy in Kaneva with rewards. (Deeds, dance floors, etc.) That has changed. You can now buy everything IN Kaneva with rewards. The only things you can not buy are things not made by Kaneva.

Kaneva is a business attempting to make money. You can play for free (as many do) and accept that you can do most everything here for free or you can pay money and buy the user created stuff.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - nothing ticks off people more than taking away something they previously had.

Existing interactive (P2P) emotes should be given back to the general population and VIP should have NEW emotes (such as the oft requested slow dancing, hand holding, etc.) Then VIP would be immediately desirable and no one would be angered by the loss of what was had.

I agree with you........when you are sitting and looking at the chat window and if you try to put in some wording to JUST the person you are chatting to or with, other people butt in by chatting to other people so now you have to wait to see what your friend's response is going to be and meanwhile, you have to scroll down to see if there is a response to just you so I think a smaller window for personal chat would be better so Yes we need a seperate window when it comes to private chats.

Besides an Island, how about a farm, or an answering service or motorcycles going down the freeway with other vehicles ?????? I think this is a good ideal. I would like to see your ideal happening because we need to do more than dance and sit or lay down.
When you go to the movies, other people can sit down with you and watch the movie and maybe pass the pop corn with each other. To make Kaneva more real-like would keep the members or players stay with Kaneva longer. I think when people get bored of Kaneva they sign in less. I think there should be a way to get people involved with the different communties that are created. What can we do to get people involved besides dancing, or walking around or going to places to chat with one another. I want Kaneva to become live and interesting if I continue to stay with Kaneva.

I looked a the comments you posted now, personally, i find it childish for you to be fighting over who was here longer.
It's just a PC chat program and being here for half a decade doesn't make you better than someone else.

What you fight over translates as, who has been spending the most time behind their monitor slowly forgetting the advantages of social groups and communication.

If you want to fight over that, go ahead, personally, i just think if you want a title that translates as that your demeaning yourself further, wasting your life on a piece of software doesn't make you better, it doesn't make you wiser or anything for that matter.

Your just demonstrating life without connection to the outside world which in turn upsets me.

Criticism isn't always so bad, some people take it in a positive manner as constructive criticism, why don't you try that.

i don't think that's even possible, just because the laws of physics, gravity and reality don't have to apply to kaneva doesn't mean there are no boundaries at all, kaneva can't bend to someones will all the time, just like life

i don't think that is possible, kaneva is 3rd party i believe and the design team haven't worked with wii programming or graphics before, plus, the wii specifications practically state that it would need additional hardware to cope withh MMOGs.

Basically, the wii couldn't handle it that well, that's why graphics and functionality are sacrificed for Wii MMOGs.

Also, even if it were possible, kaneva may be able to render, design and create a 3d PC MMOG but it's a little different with a wii, in fact, the whole process is a lot different.

This is absolutly nuts. It's just terribly greedy! Okay, so as if PAYING for emotes isin't enough, we have to pay ten bucks a MONTH?? Having our wallets get lighter and lighter, JUST for a few emotes that aren't SOOOOOOOOO special. I haven't been on here in a long time, won't be back til more levels....it was fun, but got through it too quickly. If it was like it was in the day, the scores would pop up on the side and you could at least dance against people and keep track of your own one-time score, to try to beat your best scores. You can sell items bought with credits, not ones received for leveling up or bought with rewards.

I agree that you should be able to sell those for 50% value in rewards.

I have already paid for an access pass! now why do they think we should pay for a VIP pass? I don't think that we should have to pay for kisses, hugs, high fives etc.. ESPECIALLY if you've already paid for a $40.00 Access Pass. Kaneva should bring back the old. We pay plenty for building, there shouldn't be any additional monthly charges tacked on. Isn't Kaneva making a killing by the purchases of clothing and furniture on here? Please stop being Greedy! The new dance moves should be added to the emotes and they should be free!

Thanks for the ideal even tho I am not a Michael Jackson lover, but I do love his music and he was a good dancer. I think the Moon walk for a Avatar would be great plus slow dancing would be awesome too. Don't know why I can't add to the vote Up but, if I could you know I would. Mrs And I would Always Buy the old builders Package for $39.99

you got 11,000 Credits , (20) 16 x16 walls , (20) 16 x 16 Floors, L Shape Stairs , (3) 3 light Lamps, and there was a few more Items I cant remember them all. But this Was A Very Economical Package And We Bought it all the Time. We Haven t Bought a package since its been taken off the List. Oh Yeah we did JoJo's Package :) We bought that LOL.
Haven't seen any Packages Worth Spending $ money on since. So we sit and wait for rewards to Spend Ha !

So Yes Please Bring back Credits with Bundles packages Again!

I have to agree with you but for some reason I can't vote on your ideal because all I see is a number right now. I still don't understand what the game is all about or how to play it. I seem to be on my own reading every thing in sight and watching people dance and looking at the chat windows, going to my home and trying to make it homey and walking at the mall so what else is there to do ? It would be nice to meet people....that have the same intrests as I do but I can't seem to find them. I love listening to music and watching movies, but my life is on a tail spin right now so here I am wondering what to do and waiting to see what is going to happen next. Reading chat windows could be made alot simpler or we all need to read alot faster eh ?

I too don't understand WHY rewards can't be traded for Credits or Credit's for rewards. I also think that there should be more to do in Keneva besides dance and walk around or sit or lay down. I want more things to do and more places to see.

I agree because some people dont want to pay for credits... including me. I believe that more items should be offered to buy with rewards that you cannot buy with credits. It will show that they are worth something.

this wont happen, rewards are free.. credits you buy... if you want to EARN some credits.. click buy credits.. and do the free serveys at the bottom of the page to get some.. or win a dance off in the 3d world..

Why does anyone NEED credits? You can pretty much buy anything in Kaneva now with rewards. The only exception is user designed clothes, etc. Credits exist so Kaneva can make money. It is a business, after all.

i love this idea , i bought alreadyclothing and it did not look kike what i thought because a girl made the clothing. im a guy andi make female clothes but cant see what there will look like.
but with this i could look at it and deside if it is nice or not.
and others can see it to.

Rotating patterns can be done with most any programs greater than M.S. Paint. If you need help rotating, editing, or manipulating what pattern youre working with, there are plenty of people who would be willing to help, myself included.

Unfortunately the double-sided panels must work with 1 pattern only. Its because of the program used to make them.
