IdeaScale Categories

How to manage Categories?

Managing your IdeaScale portal becomes much easier when you create Categories for topics. You can access the Categories option under:

  • Login »  IdeaScale »  My IdeaScale (Select IdeaScale Portal) »  Settings »  Categories

How to add categories?

When setting up the portal 3 default categories are automatically added. New categories can be added or existing categories can be edited/deleted from the categories menu. You can enter in a Header for the Category in the Description text box.

Where do the categories show up on the Portal?

The categories show up on the left side of the portal. If you have entered a description / header for the category then it will show up on the potal for the selected category.

To edite the header you can click on the Edit link for the category and edit the text in the Description text box.
