IdeaScale - RSS Feeds

What kinds of RSS feeds are available with IdeaScale?

With all IdeaScale portals, there are a few ways to let your users keep in touch via RSS.

  1. RSS Feeds for New Ideas/Topics : As new ideas are posted an RSS feed for those ideas can be consumed. This RSS feed can be accessed by clicking on the RSS Link on the panel portal:

  2. RSS Feeds for Comments : As new comments (on ideas) are posted an RSS feed for those comments can be consumed. This RSS feed can be accessed by clicking on the RSS Link on the panel portal:

  3. RSS Updates on a particular idea/topic : If you (or your users) are only interested in tracking a single idea/topic, you can subscribe to that topic's feed. To access the feed for the topic, view the "Topic Details" screen and the RSS feed is there:

RSS Feeds will NOT be available if the Security Settings on your IdeaScale portal are set to "High/Login Required" -- this is beacuse there is no way to authenticate RSS feed readers. To learn more about Security settings, click on the link in the References section below.
