Creating IdeaScale Portal - How to?

How to set up an IdeaScale Portal?

Go to:

  • Login »  IdeaScale »  My IdeaScale
  • Under My IdeaScale click on the Create New IdeaScale link.

  • Step 1: In the popup window put in a name for the IdeaScale and a Tagline / Header. Click on the Next button.

  • Step 2: Enter in the From Email address and the From Name. This will be used for all emails sent from the portal created.

    On Step 2 you can click on the Next button to update further settings or click on the Finish button to add the Ideascale. Later on you can edit the settings under the Settings Tab

  • Step 3: Set up the IdeaScale URL.
    Once you set up the IdeaScale URL it cannot be changed.

  • Step 4: Set up IdeaScale modules or Categories for segmenting topics. You can also add / delete categories later on.

Click Finish to add the IdeaScale.
